Ordering Details

Please have your 9-digit Student ID Number and accepted form of payment (Visa credit or debit, Mastercard, or Discover credit card, with the correct billing address) ready before placing an order.

Payment by Credit Card or Visa Debit: AVS (Address Verification Security) requires correct billing address (address line one and/or postal code).

Please only register once. If you need to make changes, contact Build-A-Grad customer service. Contact information can be found below and in your confirmation email.


Pricing Details

Please note that graduate student's regalia has been sponsored by the Graduate Student Association for online registration; onsite (late) registration fees still apply.

Undergraduate Student Online: $33.81 (tax included)

Student Onsite: $100.00 (tax included)

Visa, MasterCard, Visa debit, and Discover credit cards are accepted for payment method. Payment by Credit Card or Visa Debit requires correct billing address for AVS (Address Verification Security).

Email Order Confirmation

You will receive an email from Build-A-Grad once your rental registration is complete. This confirmation contains all the necessary details regarding your regalia rental order, including information about pick up, drop off, etc.

You will also receive a separate email from Gaspard with your receipt.

Please have these available for reference when picking up your regalia.


Order Cancellations

Cancellation request must be received by THIS WEBSITE IS ON TEST/REVIEW MODE. PLEASE DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER! ANY ORDER RECEIVED DURING THIS TIME WILL BE CANCELLED AND DELETED!Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. MST

Refunds for paid rentals will not be issued after this date.

If you missed the online regalia ordering deadline, you can still rent your regalia onsite on the day of your ceremony. Please arrive 1.5 hours before your ceremony.

Regalia Pick-Up Time and Location

Graduands are to arrive 90 minutes (1.5 hours) before the ceremony to pick up their regalia and parchment(s), and line up for the procession. The graduand assembly area is located in the University Hall Atrium.

For security reasons, do not bring purses, wallets, backpacks, laptops or any valuable items to the grad assembly area.

Regalia Drop-Off Time and Location

Return rental regalia to the Bookstore in the Students' Union Building by 2:00 p.m. MST on the same day as your ceremony. Please follow the signage outside the track and ensure your gown is zipped up.

Failure to return your rental regalia to the Bookstore by 2:00 p.m. MST may result in additional fees.
