Convocation Details

Convocation Time and Date: Convocation is June 17 - 19, 2025 and ceremonies are at 9:30 am and 2:30 pm.

Location: Winspear Centre for Music, 4 Sir Winston Churchill Square, Edmonton, AB T5J 4X8

Ordering Details

Please have your MacEwan Student Id, ceremony (or ceremonies), credit/debit card, and credit/debit card's billing address (address line one and/or postal code) on hand before beginning your registration. Visa debit, Visa, MasterCard, or Discovery credit cards are accepted for payment. Payment by Credit Card or Visa Debit: AVS (Address Verification Security) requires correct billing address.

You will be asked to provide your MacEwan Student ID. If your MacEwan Student ID is not valid, please contact [email protected] to confirm your graduation status.

Please make sure to enter the email address in which you received your Approval/Confirmation email. We will use this email address to send your order confirmation.

Middle Name: This textbox field on the order form is optional. You may leave this field blank.

Pricing Details

Online Regalia Rentals: $58.00 tax included

On Site Regalia Rentals: $70.00 tax included

Email Order Confirmation Details

You will receive two emails once your rental registration is complete. Please only register once, if you would like to make changes please call or email us. Details below.

Email 1/2 will contain your ORDER NUMBER and bank transaction information. If you have used a credit card other than your own it will show on this confirmation. The rental regalia will be onsite in your name.

Email 2/2 will contain your RENTAL ID and ORDER ID, this is proof that your order is complete. This confirmation contains all the necessary details regarding your rental, pick up, drop off, etc.

Cancellations

All cancellations for refund must be received by Gaspard before May 26, 2025 at 12:00 PM. Refunds will not be available after this date.

Arrival Information

Parking: limited parking in and around the Winspear.
LRT – exit Churchill station and follow the signs to Winspear Centre.

Notes to Graduates:

Photos: Photo backdrops will be available for graduates, family and friends to use, including a backdrop sponsored by Alumni. Welcome to use this before and after the ceremony.

Regalia Pick-Up Instructions

Graduates can pick-up their gowns during Grad Fair on campus on:

June 11 from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. &
June 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Gowns and tickets will be in Rooms 7-142 and 7-146 (building 7). All gowns will be organized by ceremony and in alphabetical order by last name. Look out for signs around campus.

Additionally, plenty of photo opportunities will be available during this event. Internal departments will also be present to congratulate graduates and families.

If you cannot pick up your Convocation pack, you can have a friend or family member pick it up on your behalf. Please email [email protected] with the name of the person picking it up. They will be asked to provide their photo ID. As a last resort, you can get your tickets and regalia at the Winspear Centre starting one hour before your ceremony begins. You will need your Photo ID to pick up from the box office.

Regalia Drop-Off Instructions

All gowns are to be dropped off at the coat check at the Winspear Centre immediately after the ceremony.

Gaspard has scanned your rental items to your student ID. All rental regalia must be returned after your event. Unreturned items will be reported to your University or College and you will be charged for the regalia up to $800 depending on your degree.
