Convocation Details

Convocation Time and Date: Convocation is Tuesday, November 18, 2025 and ceremonies are at 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM.

Location: Winspear Centre for Music, 4 Sir Winston Churchill Square, Edmonton, AB T5J 4X8

Ordering Details

Please have your MacEwan Student Id, ceremony (or ceremonies), credit/debit card, and credit/debit card's billing address (address line one and/or postal code) on hand before beginning your registration. Visa debit, Visa, MasterCard, or Discovery credit cards are accepted for payment. Payment by Credit Card or Visa Debit: AVS (Address Verification Security) requires correct billing address.

You will be asked to provide your MacEwan Student ID. If your MacEwan Student ID is not valid, please contact [email protected] to confirm your graduation status.

Please make sure to enter the email address in which you received your Approval/Confirmation email. We will use this email address to send your order confirmation.

Middle Name: This textbox field on the order form is optional. You may leave this field blank.

Pricing Details

Online Regalia Rentals: $58.00 tax included

On Site Regalia Rentals: $70.00 tax included

Email Order Confirmation Details

You will receive two emails once your rental registration is complete. Please only register once, if you would like to make changes please call or email us. Details below.

Email 1/2 will contain your ORDER NUMBER and bank transaction information. If you have used a credit card other than your own it will show on this confirmation. The rental regalia will be onsite in your name.

Email 2/2 will contain your RENTAL ID and ORDER ID, this is proof that your order is complete. This confirmation contains all the necessary details regarding your rental, pick up, drop off, etc.

Cancellations

All cancellations for refund must be received by Gaspard before Monday, October 27, 2025 at 11:59 PM MST. Refunds will not be available after this date.

Arrival Information

Doors will open 1 hour prior to the ceremony start time.

Parking: extremely limited parking in and around the Winspear Centre. Please give yourself extra time when attending your ceremony.

LRT – exit Churchill station and follow the signs to Winspear Centre.

Notes to Graduates:

Photos: Photo backdrops will be available for graduates, family and friends to use, including a backdrop sponsored by Alumni. Welcome to use this before and after the ceremony.

Flowers: Convocation Flowers will be at the Winspear Centre selling flower bouquets, teddy bears and other items.

MacEwan merchandise: MacEwan Bookstore will be present selling a variety of merchandise including MacEwan wear and parchment frames.

Regalia Pick-Up Instructions

Graduates can pick-up their gowns during Kick Off Event on campus on:

Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM in room 7-142.

All gowns will be organized by Faculty/School in alphabetical order by last name. Look out for signs around campus.

Graduates who are unable to pick their gowns up during Kick Off Event, they will be available for pick-up up to one hour prior to the ceremony start time. Gowns can be picked up at the coat check area and are organized alphabetically by last name.

Regalia Drop-Off Instructions

All gowns are to be dropped off at the coat check in Winspear immediately after the ceremony is complete.

Rental agreement:
Your rental items will be scanned to your student ID. Please return all rental regalia to the coat check at the Winspear Centre immediately after the ceremony to avoid additional purchase fee.
